COUNSELOR IN TRAINING
A counselor in training is a support system for people with substance use disorders who work with and teach individuals how to modify their behavior with the intention of full recovery. Training will prepare you to apply for certification as an entry level counselor. The Addiction Counselor Certification Board of Oregon (ACCBO) administers the exam certifying the candidate as qualified to practice at the level of CADC I.
CADC I / II
Licensed drug and alcohol counselors assist individuals who have substance use disorders. Because substance use disorders affect more than just the individual, counselors may also provide support to friends and family members. They work with the client and may work with other health care professionals to determine the optimal treatment plan and find ongoing support / after care for an individual. CADC I / II / III's are licensed through The Addiction Counselor Certification Board of Oregon (ACCBO).
Treatment Aides help with day-to-day activities, including scheduling and may also meet with family members, contact rehabilitation centers or human service agencies or work with less severe patients.
NURSE ~ DETOXIFICATION PROGRAM
In search of RN / LPN's to provide medically appropriate detoxification services to clients that includes addiction plan implementation, monitoring and assessment as well as overall duties of the Detoxification Program. This includes referral of clients to outpatient/ inpatient treatment programs and/or self-help program when appropriate.
CHILD DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM ASSISTANT
The Child Development Program Assistant will work to provide a high quality developmental classroom experience for the children of parents within a residential drug and alcohol treatment program. They help maintain a consistent and safe environment for the children; assist with children’s daily care routines; as well as maintain equipment, supplies and classroom. Candidate will also assist parents in learning parenting tools by both positive modeling and providing assistance.
INTAKE AND REFERRAL COORDINATOR
With our organization's mission in mind, works with referral agencies, community partners and community members throughout the intake process from application to placement, maintains agency wait list, prepares reports and maintains client numbers in Residential program. Prepares and tracks authorizations through reporting system and responds to information requests. This is a part time position.
EOAF is a drug free workplace. Oregon Administrative Rules for residential treatment facilities, detoxification centers and outpatient treatment require that each and every counseling and treatment employee have a minimum of 2 years verified clean and sober living in an independent living situation.
